The way we use our computer significantly impacts on our level of comfort. In this time of age, it is not uncommon to spend in excess of 8 hours each day working on a computer. And if that wasn't enough, we often use a computer or mobile device after we finish work as well. The repetitive movements and sometimes static postures can take their toll on your wrists, fingers, forearms, elbows and shoulders. An ergonomic mouse is a category of computer mice that have been specifically designed to reduce muscle strain and improve user comfort (while using the mouse). They achieve this by changing the posture of the users hand, wrist, fingers and forearm when using the mouse.
Typically, this change in posture is to one of a more natural posture that people often report as “more comfortable” than the hand position used for a traditional mouse. If you are experiencing aches and pains in your wrist, hands, forearm, elbows or shoulders, you may find that by simply changing the position of your hand (to more a handshake position) can help to reduce or even eliminate it.

Left handed? Don't worry, we have you covered. We stock a range of vertical ergonomic mice that are specifically for left handed users. Left handed ergonomic mice are similar to right handed ergonomic only reversed.
We also stock a range of ergonomic mice that are specifically designed for right hand users as well. The majority of computer users are right handed and for this reason there are more right handed ergonomic mice available than left handed ones.
Want to use both your left and right hands to operate your new ergonomic mouse? Then take a look at our Ambidextrous Ergonomic Mice. Designed so you can switch between left hand and right hand use. Whilst it can take several weeks to adjust to using a ambidextrous mouse, there is significant value in being able to share the workload of your computer mouse across your left and right hands.
Small hands? We stock a range of ergonomic mice designed for users with small hands. A smaller hand requires a smaller ergonomic mouse. If the mouse is too big for your hand it can result in either further discomfort or a lack of results. We recommend you take a measurement from the base of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. If this measurement is <15cm, then you will require a small ergonomic mouse.
We also stock a range of computer mice that are best suited to users with a large hand size. If you have a large hand, you will require a large ergonomic mouse. We recommend you take a measurement from the base of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. If this measurement is >17.8cm then this means you will require a large ergonomic mouse such as the evoluent vertical mouse or microsoft sculpt ergonomic mouse or logitec ergonomic mouse. A larger ergonomic mouse will ensure that your fingers are positioned correctly to the buttons on the mouse, whilst also ensuring that you get the best results from your new vertical mouse.
We also stock a range of ergonomic mice that have unique features such as programmable buttons, adjustable length/height and even a computer mouse that has a thumb operated scroll wheel ergo mouse. Ergonomics is about fitting the right equipment to the users needs. For this reason we stock a wide range of ergonomic solutions that will ultimately help you work more comfortably and productively at work.
