Add Adjustable Tenting and Palm Support to Your Kinesis Freestyle2

The Kinesis Freestyle 2 VIP3 Accessory Pack adds adjustable tenting and cushioned palm supports to your existing Freestyle2 keyboard.

Choose between 5°, 10° and 15° tenting to raise the inner edges of the keyboard modules and reduce the amount your forearms need to rotate towards a flat, palms-down typing position.

Integrated palm supports and removable cushioned palm pads provide a comfortable resting surface for the heel of the hands during pauses in typing.

The VIP3 gives you the same 5°, 10° and 15° tenting options as the V3, while adding integrated padded palm supports for users who prefer extra support at the front of the keyboard.

Kinesis designed the V-Lifters to create a firm typing platform at each of the three tenting angles without unwanted bounce.

What Does Tenting Change?

A flat keyboard positions the hands approximately parallel with the desk, requiring the forearms to rotate towards a palms-down position.

Tenting raises the inner, thumb-side edges of a split keyboard so the hands can work at a more angled position.

The VIP3 provides three moderate tenting levels, allowing you to choose how much elevation feels appropriate rather than committing to one fixed angle.

This makes it easy to experiment with the three settings and return to a preferred angle without permanently modifying the keyboard.

Integrated Palm Supports for Resting Between Keystrokes

The VIP3 includes dedicated left and right palm supports together with cushioned palm pads.

These extend the keyboard towards you and provide a comfortable surface for the heel of the hands during pauses in typing.

During active typing, aim to keep the hands light and mobile rather than placing continuous pressure through the wrists against the support.

Keep the Keyboard Connected or Separate the Two Halves

The VIP3 is fully compatible with the Freestyle2's pivot tether.

Leave the tether connected when you want the two keyboard modules linked together, or disconnect it when greater separation between the left and right sections suits your workstation better.

This lets you combine tented positioning with the Freestyle2's adjustable splay and separation.

If your product becomes faulty or malfunctions within the warranty period, you can lodge a warranty claim via our returns portal. We will work with you to arrange either a repair or replacement, depending on the issue.

Ischial Tuberosity Support Cushion – My Experience So Far

I had a complete proximal hamstring avulsion of my left leg, which required surgery to repair. I’m now 6 weeks post-op and still finding sitting very uncomfortable!
My physio suggested I purchase an ischial tuberosity support cushion, so after doing some research I decided to give this one a try. I ordered it on 10/9/26 as it was advertised to help with the discomfort I’m experiencing. It arrived today, 22/9/26. I live in remote regional WA.
I’ve only had it for a short time, but so far it feels good and comfortable to sit on.
I’ll update my review once I’ve used it for a bit longer and can give a more informed opinion :-).

I bought the Ergoslider as I get migraines

I bought the Ergoslider as I get migraines, a sore neck and shoulder from mouse use. I like that it is ambidextrous as that means I can use both hands. I am however still experiencing a sore shoulderblade and neck when I use it, but it has been a chronic problem for a while so it may take time. I am struggling to find a comfortable position for the keyboard behind the slider. I have a smaller one without numbers on the side, but it it is too low to use easily and when I put it on a book it still doesn’t feel comfortable and it’s causing discomfort in my hand and wrist. So unfortunately it hasn’t been the answer I was hoping it would be. I’m open to any feedback or suggestions as to how to make it work better with the keyboard. I don’t really like resting my hands on the ergo pad as I am used to just typing with my hands floating. Thanks for any help.
