Two Configurations for Two Different Types of Work
Typing Mode
For Direct Touchscreen Interaction
Typing Mode positions the tablet at approximately
22° and creates an integrated palm-support area in
front of the device.
This setup is useful for touchscreen typing, handwriting,
annotation, browsing and other tasks where you are interacting
directly with the tablet.
Viewing Mode
For Hands-Free Screen Use
Viewing Mode raises the tablet significantly higher and gives you
two height positions and five angle settings.
This configuration is ideal for video conferencing, reading,
watching content or pairing the tablet with an external keyboard.
Typing Mode Gives Your Hands Somewhere to Rest
Tablets are often used flat on a desk or held unsupported while typing.
In Typing Mode, the Perch creates a
22° angled working surface with an integrated palm
support in front of the tablet.
This gives you a more structured surface for touchscreen interaction
while still keeping the tablet close enough to reach comfortably.
Raise the Tablet When You Don't Need to Touch the Screen Constantly
Viewing Mode changes the Perch into a taller tablet stand, raising the
screen to approximately 18–19cm above the desk.
Choose between Upper and Lower height positions, then
select from five available viewing angles within the chosen configuration.
This gives you much more freedom to position the screen for hands-free
activities than a simple fixed tablet case or low-profile stand.

The exact angle range changes slightly depending on whether the tablet is
placed in the upper or lower position.

on a highly raised tablet screen.

Viewing Mode Can Also Support Two Devices
The two-tier viewing configuration provides the option of positioning
two compatible mobile devices within the stand.
This can be useful when you want a tablet and phone visible together, or
when referring between two mobile screens during work or study.
