Fully split contoured mechanical keyboard
Position Your Keyboard Around Your Hands, Shoulders and Typing Style
The Kinesis Advantage360 Split Keyboard combines two
independently positionable keyboard modules with deep
concave key wells, adjustable tenting and a columnar key
layout designed around the natural reach of your fingers.
Separate the two halves to suit your shoulder width, rotate them to align
with your forearms and choose from three tenting positions to create a
highly personalised typing setup.
Mechanical switches and Kinesis' SmartSet programming engine
add responsive typing and powerful onboard customisation for people who
spend serious time at the keyboard.
Split it to your shoulder width. Rotate it to your hands. Tent it to your preferred angle.
Rather than asking both hands to work around one fixed keyboard, the
Advantage360 lets you position each module around the way your body
naturally sits at the desk.
Serious Ergonomic Adjustability for Serious Typing
SPLIT
Independent Keyboard Halves
Separate and rotate each module independently to create a typing
position around your shoulder width and forearm alignment.
3-WAY
Adjustable Tenting
Choose low, medium or high tenting to change the inward angle of the
typing surfaces around your preferred hand and forearm position.
CONCAVE
Sculpted Key Wells
Bowl-shaped key wells bring keys closer to the natural reach of the
fingers instead of placing everything across one flat surface.
SMART
Onboard SmartSet Programming
Remap keys, create macros and customise layouts directly from the
keyboard without requiring an internet connection.
Bring the Keyboard Halves to Your Hands
A conventional keyboard puts both hands in positions determined by the
width and angle of one fixed board.
The Advantage360 lets you position the left and right modules separately.
Move them apart to better match your shoulder width, rotate each half
around your forearms and fine-tune the distance until the keyboard feels
naturally positioned in front of you.
This level of adjustability is particularly valuable for high-volume
touch typists who want greater control over their typing position.
Three Tenting Positions Let You Fine-Tune the Angle
Each keyboard module incorporates an integrated
three-position tenting mechanism.
Low
Medium
High
Independent Split
Experiment with the three settings to find the keyboard angle that feels
most natural around your hands and forearms.
Concave Key Wells Place the Keys Around Your Fingers
The Advantage360 uses Kinesis' distinctive
contoured key-well design.
Keys sit at different depths within a bowl-shaped surface instead of being
spread across a completely flat keyboard.
This brings many commonly used keys closer to the resting position of your
fingers and reduces the amount of reaching required across the keyboard.
Columnar Keys Follow the Direction Your Fingers Naturally Move
Traditional keyboards use staggered rows that originated with mechanical
typewriters.
The Advantage360 instead arranges its keys in
vertical columns, positioning each column more directly
beneath the finger responsible for using it.
Combined with the concave key wells, this creates a highly structured
typing surface centred around finger movement rather than traditional
keyboard convention.
Give Frequently Used Keys to Your Thumbs
Dedicated thumb clusters position commonly used functions such as
Space, Enter, Backspace and Delete around the thumbs.
This redistributes everyday typing actions across more of the hand instead
of concentrating so much work around the smaller outer fingers.
A Contoured Keyboard That Still Keeps the Mouse Close
Despite its substantial appearance, the Advantage360 removes the fixed
numeric keypad found on a conventional full-size keyboard.
This reduces the width of each typing module and allows the mouse to remain
closer to your normal working position.
Function keys are incorporated into the number row and accessed using the
keyboard's function layer.
Mechanical Gateron Brown Key Switches
The current NMPE model is supplied with
Gateron Brown KS-9 tactile mechanical switches.
Their tactile response provides physical feedback during the keystroke,
creating a defined mechanical typing feel without the pronounced click of
a clicky switch.
Total key travel is approximately 4.1mm.
Durable Dye-Sublimated PBT Keycaps
The standard Advantage360 uses
dye-sublimated PBT keycaps.
PBT is widely used in premium mechanical keyboards because of its durable
feel and resistance to the smooth, shiny appearance that can develop on
heavily used keys over time.
Customise Your Layout Directly from the Keyboard
The SmartSet Programming Engine gives the Advantage360
extensive customisation without requiring special drivers or a permanent
software installation.
REMAP
Remap Keys
Move frequently used functions to locations that better suit your
workflow or typing preferences.
MACRO
Create Macros
Record repeated key sequences and assign them to convenient keyboard
locations for specialised workflows.
9
Multiple Profiles
Store multiple programmable layouts so the same keyboard can be
configured around different applications or working styles.
ONBOARD
Settings Stored on the Keyboard
Custom settings are stored in the keyboard's onboard memory, allowing
your preferred layout to travel with the keyboard.
Reliable Wired USB Connection
The Advantage360 SmartSet model uses a
wired USB connection for simple, dependable computer connectivity.
A braided USB main cable connects the keyboard to your computer, while a
separate USB-C link cable connects the two keyboard modules.
There are no batteries to manage and no wireless pairing required before
you start typing.
Plug-and-Play Across Major Operating Systems
The Advantage360 is designed to work with major USB operating systems
without requiring specialised keyboard drivers.
Windows 7–11
macOS
Linux
Android & Chrome
Give Yourself Time to Learn a Very Different Keyboard Layout
The Advantage360 changes several aspects of conventional typing at once:
the split position, tenting, key depth, vertical columns and thumb-key layout.
Touch typists should expect an adaptation period while the hands learn the
new key positions.
1
Set the Split
Position each keyboard half around your natural shoulder width and
forearm direction.
2
Choose Your Tent
Experiment with low, medium and high settings until the angle feels natural.
3
Learn Before Customising
Spend some time becoming familiar with the standard layout before
making extensive SmartSet changes.
