Hello, I have this mouse, but find it doesn't glide well on my current mouse mat. Do you advise a different mat? Also, where do I see if the DPI button is working?

The mouse works best on matt surfaces. I would suggest you use a standard mouse mat. The DPI button adjust the sensitivity of the mouse cursor movements. It will toggle through the different settings with each click. 

Can you swap these with between left and right hands

Hi Just wondering if the wrist pad is removable? I have a cheap vertical mouse and I find I move it mainly with my finger tips leaving my wrist on the mouse pad rather than pushing my forearm forward.... My hands are also at the larger end of the scale.

Yes the wrist pad is removable. If you are after a larger sized mouse than the Delux Mouse, I would recommend you consider either the EV Mouse or the Evoluent VMR4 mouse.

The Delux Vertical Ergonomic Mouse only comes in black with three orange buttons and a yellow scroll wheel. You can use it to scroll horizontally while pressing the shift key.

What is the DPI button at the top for>

The DPI button is use to adjust the speed and sensitivity of the mouse. Once you press the DPI button, it will switch from the present DPI speed to the next DPI speed. Move your mouse and observe on your screen if the DPI is setting is suitable for you. If not, just repeat the process. There are a total of 3 DPI speed settings (800/1600/2400).

There is no explanation given for what the orange buttons do or how to work them?

The top orange button is use to adjust the DPI(speed and sensitivity) of the mouse cursor. It will switch from the present DPI speed to the next DPI speed. There are a total of 3 DPI speed settings - 800, 1200 and 1600 DPI.

In regards to the two orange buttons near the thumb rest, they are the forward and backward navigation buttons. They are useful when using your browser, specially if you have browse a lot of sites. Instead of clicking the backward or forward button of your browser you can do it directly using these buttons on the mouse. This will also work when you are looking through your file folders.

Is this mouse compatible with a Mac?

There are a total of 3 DPI speed settings - 800, 1200 and 1600 DPI. Unfortunately the Delux Vertical Ergonomic Mouse is non-programmable.

there ARE 3 HAND MEASUREMENTS. WHERE DO WE ADVISE THE HAND MEASUREMENT REQUIRED?

Hi Debra! It is important to consider the hand size in choosing the right ergonomic mouse as it may cause discomfort and pain in the wrist and forearm. Please measure from the base of your wrist to the tip of your 3rd finger. If this measurement is 15cm or below then you are best suited to a small ergonomic mouse. For medium it’s 15 - 17.8cm and if your hand is greater than 17.8cm then a large ergonomic mouse will fit you nicely.

I have the deluxe mouse that worked perfectly but unfortunately I have lost the Bluetooth dongle. I have tried other dongles but they dont work. I would dearly love to be able to use this mouse again and wondered if I could another dongle?

Hi! Do you have the wired versions for this model still? There isn't an option in the dropdown. I have been finding that my batteries drain every couple of months, might just be me working too hard.

Is the scroll wheel clickable?

Thanks for contacting us about your mouse query.  The scroll wheel button is clickable and is a great feature of this ergonomic mouse as it gives the ability to scroll up/down or left/right on a web page or excel/word document without having to repetitively scroll the scroll wheel. This feature is ideal for anyone who spends a lot of time scrolling through documents and finds using the scroll wheel aggravates their symptoms.

Hi there I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis last December. I spend the majority of my working day on my computer. My right (wireless mouse) hand has been very sore. Particularly between the thumb and first finger and the wrist joint and fingers! I am wondering if this mouse with the change of angle might help. I would appreciate your thoughts.

This mouse helps by putting your wrist in a vertical hand shake (neutral) position which reduces the amount of hand/finger gripping necessary to use the mouse. See the above link from our site for a bit more information on ergonomics and how it relates to arthritis.

How does this moose move? Is it moved over the table surface like a traditional mouse or is there an external trackball?

The Delux Vertical Ergonomic Mouse moves smoothly. It is like a traditional mouse that you have to move over the surface. It does not have an external trackball.

The mouse has a sensor that is not visible to the eye. You can use the mouse on a smooth table surface. Please be advised that the mouse sensitivity may vary depending on the surface it is used on.

I have a laptop that can connect to Bluetooth devices, would this mouse connect directly to my laptop, or do I have to use the USB dongle with it? Or do I have to install the drivers from the USB receiver to allow it to connect without the dongle in the future?

The Delux Vertical Ergonomic Mouse has Plug & Play drivers. Kindly uninstall the mouse driver and plug the USB receiver back in, the driver should automatically download.

Trying to buy the Delux Vertical Ergonomic Mouse - but with a cord - not wireless as I hate batteries running out etc. I have read your FAQs but your directions: "Yes it comes in either a wired or wireless model. Thanks for getting in touch. If you liked the Evoluent range, I would stick with those models as they are in a different class to the Delux. We have several on offer including the VMR4 and the Vertical Mouse C, both suited to larger hand sizes with the C model being slightly larger in all dimensions as compared with the VMR4.
