How to use it properly

Don't Press Your Wrists Into It While You Type

Despite the common name "wrist rest", the best place to make contact is generally the heel or palm of the hand, rather than placing sustained pressure directly underneath the wrist.

While actively typing, allow your hands to move freely over the keyboard and aim to keep your wrists reasonably straight.

Use the cushioned support when pausing between periods of typing rather than treating it as a brace that holds your wrists in one position.

Much better flow and ease of access.

I bought the Ergoslider as I get migraines

I bought the Ergoslider as I get migraines, a sore neck and shoulder from mouse use. I like that it is ambidextrous as that means I can use both hands. I am however still experiencing a sore shoulderblade and neck when I use it, but it has been a chronic problem for a while so it may take time. I am struggling to find a comfortable position for the keyboard behind the slider. I have a smaller one without numbers on the side, but it it is too low to use easily and when I put it on a book it still doesn’t feel comfortable and it’s causing discomfort in my hand and wrist. So unfortunately it hasn’t been the answer I was hoping it would be. I’m open to any feedback or suggestions as to how to make it work better with the keyboard. I don’t really like resting my hands on the ergo pad as I am used to just typing with my hands floating. Thanks for any help.

An absolute godsend.

Having just been diagnosed with Proximal Hamstring Tedinopathy the idea of 24 hours on a plane filled me with dread, sitting in a car for more than an hour was incredibly painful. The cushion arrived just in time. There was no pain during the flights. If you didn't have an injury you wouldn't choose it for comfort. But if you have PHT, it's an absolute godsend.

Wrist pain relief, natural curvature of my hands supported

I purchased this to relieve wrist pain I was getting in my largely computer based work. I was surprised how small it was, but how much better my hand posture was. It took some getting used to, and now I can't go back to a regular keyboard. I love that I can fold it up and toss it in my bag, as I work in a hybrid role and move stations regularly.
